Hunter Henderson is a 2022 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Augusta, KS who attends Augusta. Large frame with an athletic build and room to continue to add. Advanced maturity for age. Ran a 7.60 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Receives out in front with soft hands. Works through short exchanges and into a short arm action with a compact release. Gains short ground out of the stance and towards the bag. Has some quickness topping out at 66 MPH and popping a 2.13 during workouts. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and a toe tap trigger for timing. Upper half swing with a rotational swing. Line drive barrel plane through the zone looking to get to contact out in front. Very good student as well.
