Rowan Ellington is a 2021 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Eldorado. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.53 runner, has quick feet on defense and gets very good reads off the bat, shows range in the games, polished footwork to the ball with good balance and rhythm into his throws, second base tools and actions but will be solid at that position. Right handed hitter, rotational hitting approach with some hand quickness, quiet and simple load and timer that leaves him consistently timed, can turn the barrel and makes solid pull line drive contact, raw bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger.
