Diego Pichardo is a 2023 3B/ with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Yonkers, NY who attends Mount St Michael Academy. He ran a 7.83 second sixty. A primary third baseman with an average build. On the infield he waits back on the ball with developing footwork, he showed some feel for the glove with it out front on the forehand, the throws come from a shorter arm action and gets under the ball at times leaving room for the carry to get better as he continues to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts balanced and online, the hands load quiet straight back and is easily repeatable allowing him to get to the same slot with each swing, he showed some strength in the hands at the point of contact working best from gap to gap with a smooth swing path. Excellent student.
