William Kirk is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Saddle River, NJ who attends Ramsey. Features a well-proportioned frame that moves with ease down the mound. Side steps into a chest high knee tuck. Fluid drop/drive type delivery. Arm works long and loose out the glove that gets into some quality layback and whip at release to a ¾ slot. FB worked up to 91 where when he stayed on top of it he got some quality carry but at times exhibited some natural armside run. Changeup showed good shape in the upper 70s, killing vertical break off the fastball while adding a ton of fade and it produced some swing/miss because of it. Mixed in a flat sweeper as well in the mid 70s that had plenty of sharp horizontal break that he could land for strikes. Verbally committed to Virginia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
