Samuel Lozano is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Duncanville, TX who attends Duncanville High School. Medium frame with a lean and athletic look. Ran a 7.80 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic and clean mover to the ball, works behind the ball and funnels clean, higher release with developing arm speed but solid accurate throws as a whole clocked up to 80 mph. Athleticism and overall actions translate to first base, soft hands and easy movements, good around bag and arm works. Pitches as well, simple and controlled delivery, works from a higher slot with some pitch ability and pitched to contact. Lefthanded hitter, clean move in, has some length to the path but gets it out on time, heavy hands create some strength at impact, has good power upside with added consistency. Good student.
