JC Pacheco is a 2026 SS/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Wayne, NJ who attends Depaul Catholic. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Left handed hitter, sets up in a wider straight stance with a simple load and trigger, has a short and compact swing, tends to stay on his back side and cut off his swing out front, has some strength in his hands and made consistent solid middle of the field contact. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good actions to his back hand, active feet and stays low behind the ball, smooth exchange and transition into his throws, has some arm strength from a higher arm slot, athletic overall actions on defense. Excellent student with a verbal commitment to Arizona State.
