Carter Hayes is a 2024 C/RHP, OF with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Bryson City, NC who attends Swain County. Smaller frame with a slender, young build. Ran a 8.87 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher sitting up a bit in his stance. Receives it well and shows quick transfers on throw downs. Compact arm action releasing from the ear while getting on top of it. Downhill throws around the bag. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working into a belt high leg lift before dropping down and driving direct to the plate. Medium arm circle in the back releasing from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball up to 61 MPH showing sink near the zone. Does a good job of changing eye levels. Fields his position and holds runners on well. Secondary Outfielder working well through the baseball showing good routes. Fields it out front before shuffling into his crow hop. Lefthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance before working into a toe tap and go. Weight is out front at contact while showing an uphill swing path. Middle of the field approach and will let it get deep and drive it the other way.
