Alex Franco is a 2021 3B/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Castro Valley, CA who attends Moreau Catholic. Medium frame with broad shoulders and an athletic build. Ran a 7.93 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary third baseman. Fields the ball out front with some bend at the waist. Short strides when working to and through the baseball. Short arm action in the back into a high release. Accurate across the infield on throws at 70 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide and slightly open stance. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Line drive plane through the zone working soft contact to all fields. Good student as well.
