Ben Kennebeck is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Medium build with good height and room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery, tight 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball very well, rotational delivery that uses his lower half well. Upper 70's fastball, very consistent velocity, ball really gets on hitters well due to deception and velocity plays up, very good command and throws to spots, hits the glove side corner at will, plus strike thrower. Short slider with cutter like depth most times. Rare change but it showed big fading action and could become a weapon for him. Sum is more than the parts. Right handed hitter, open upright stance, simple line drive middle of the field approach, handles the barrel well and repeats his mechanics. Excellent student.
