Holden Cohn is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Short Hills, NJ who attends Millburn. Medium athletic build with well-proportioned strength present throughout, and projection remaining. Primary catcher, sets up in a wider, squared stance. Gains sufficient ground while working into a clean midline transfer. Moves with plenty of quickness and athleticism. Releases the ball from a shorter arm stroke. Delivered low and accurate throws to the bag. Recorded arm strength up to 74 mph with a pop time of 1.97 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a loose hand set-up. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing before working into an on-plane stroke. Takes a direct path to the baseball, turning quickly to the point of contact. Quiet hands with good extension through the zone. Creates easy whip to the barrel and loud impact to both gaps. Recorded three hits to separate parts of the field during live action. Posted an exit velocity of 87 mph. Ran a 3.90 thirty-yard dash. Excellent student.
