2023 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 12)
Alex Gee is a 2024 OF/RHP, 3B, SS, MIF with a 5-10 183 lb. frame from Corinth, MS who attends Corinth. Primary outfielder with a medium frame showing strength throughout the build. Ran a 7.30 second sixty. Waits back on the ball in the outfield fielding it on the side with two hands before gathering to create momentum into the throws with a short shuffle. Showed flashes of arm strength with a short arm action when he gets on top of the ball with accurate throws. Right-handed hitter starts with an even base using a simple leg lift with little weight shift. Does a nice job working to the inner half of the baseball with a compact swing path showing some strength when he gets extended out front with mostly linear contact. Very good student.
