Fernando Guadalupe Vazquez Pesina is a 2019 OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Saltillo, CA who attends Tecnologico de Monterrey. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows good energy moving towards the baseball with short and quick steps, fields out front with some bend at waist, extra step through release, full arm action through the back side working to a tighter slot, shows accuracy to throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open and bent knee stance in the box with a high hand set and back elbow. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing, occasionally gets to front side early but stays short to the baseball and repeats mechanics well. Strength to hands with a linear plane through the zone, shows carry off the barrel to pull side when squared and can unlock additional pop with keeping weight back longer during shift.
