Shun Yarimizu is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Kashihara, NR who attends Doshisya-Kokusai HS. Broad shouldered athletic build with some well proportioned present strength. Right handed hitter, rotational upper body swing from a leg lift trigger, front side will pull off early at times, best contact is when he stays directional to contact, showed good mid field lift when on time and directional. 7.37 runner, long arm action in back, tends to throw uphill, has some developing arm strength, aggressive through the ball with a quick release. Also pitched, works from the stretch with an over the top arm slot, deliberate delivery and mechanics. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, fastball has good cutting action and is effective working glove side. 12/6 curveball showed good depth and tightness, stays on top of both pitches well.
