Robert Creighton is a 2023 RHP/2B, 3B, SS, MIF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from West Monroe, LA who attends Neville. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a high leg lift up past belt, shorter arm stroke through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Worked exclusively out of the stretch, fastball topped out at 68 mph, generated consistent cut to action to the pitch and flashed a curveball at 61 mph. Can continue to refine directionality and incorporate additional lower half towards the plate. Young actions in the infield, fields the ball out front, longs strides up the middle, showed accuracy across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Weight starts on backside, upper body dominant swing and shows a full path through the zone. Lowers hands at start of swing, looks to lift at point of contact, opens front side early in swing, comfort working to the pull side. Very good student.
