Michael Fontenot is a 2020 3B/SS/UT with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Kinder, LA who attends Kinder. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall narrow stance with a limited hand load, upper body dominant swing that creates leverage through the zone, can use his lower half more to create this leverage, has a loose swing and creates bat speed, gap power, swung the bat very well in the games and showed his power potential. Has a loose and flexible lower half on defense and works well side to side and below the ball, fields the ball cleanly out front with a good funnel and works through the ball, solid fundamentally at third base, made accurate throws with some carry.
