Nathan Moreno is a 2020 RHP/SS with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from West Covina, CA who attends West Covina. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he develops. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters arm slot. Works pretty quick through his motion overall. Comes set with his hands close to his face then lifts and works hard down the mound. Lives around the plate with his 73-77 mph fastball. Mixes in a large 11-to-5 shaped curveball that he saved until later in his outing. Shows an ability to put it over the plate for strikes despite its large shape. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
