Warner Tewes is a 2020 RHP/C, 3B, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Los Osos. Large frame with square shoulders and long arms. plenty of room to add strength throughout his body. Short side step and easy leg lift while staying tall and balanced on the back side. Had some rhythm to the delivery, using a long arm swing and a 3/4 release point. Strides long to the plate while staying in line, pronates at release that helped create sink to his fastball. Good movement when down in the zone and proved tough to square. Developing command but produced soft contact. Curveball showed 11-5 break and shape was good, will continue to get better with added reps. Flashed a changeup with some dive late as he extended. Good upside as he continues to get stronger and repeat his delivery and release point.
