Cody Hill is a 2022 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Muenster, TX who attends Muenster. Ran a 7.23 60 yard dash. Solid athleticism on the mound. Larger frame with broad shoulders, pitches out of the stretch. Good separation of the hands, works mostly north and south. Arm action is a bit deceptive and creates some plane to his fastball. The fastball was up to 85 MPH and had some unintentional cut to it. His curveball was at 69 MPH and had good depth to it. He also threw a changeup at 73 MPH. Great calmness on the mound. Throws well in the outfield with carry and was clocked at 81 MPH out there. At the plate, has a bit of an upper cut swing and can make some loud contact. His highest exit velocity was 87 MPH. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
