2018 West Coast Prospect Showcase
An Li Chang is a 2019 RHP with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Taipei City, TP. Thick build with some present strength. Hand drop delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well coming through with good direction to the plate, repeats his timing and mechanics very well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Showed good feel for his breaking ball, added and subtracted from it, best breaking balls were slider shape with sharp downward 2-plane break, rare change up but picked up an out with one. Threw almost all strikes and was effective when he was mixing his pitches.
