Eason Bing is a 2019 2B/RHP, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Southwest Dekalb. Medium and lean frame. Ran a 7.53 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman who took reps in the infield fielding the baseball out in front, high gathering position rounding he ball off well, effort to actions with a long release producing a best velocity of 80 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, begins windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, full arm action up to an over the top arm slot, front side is a bit tight but acts as a nice lever for the throwing arm to work through, developing arm speed, creates some downhill plane at times, lands on a soft front leg, fastball topped out at 74 mph, curveball has 11-to-5 shape and depth, filled up the strike zone well with both offerings. Righthanded hitter, slightly open stance with a high hand set, double toe tap trigger into his stride into contact, compact and inside swing path getting downhill with path as well, upper half dominant swing, will improve pop off the barrel with more lower half involvement, consistent and repeatable swing path during round.
