Emaarion Boyd is a 2022 OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Batesville, MS who attends South Panola. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Fast-twitch, posted a 6.56 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, speed tool plays extremely well and projects as a center fielder at the next level, plenty of quickness and agility to actions, moves in on the ball well, full arm action through the back, shows present arm strength on throws with some carry to intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; active hands, remains very short to the ball and generates easy bat speed through the zone. Twitch plays in swing, aggressive in the box and shows quickness to hands and employs a line drive oriented approach, shows strength to the pull side; high end tools across board and projects very well. Selected to the 2021 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
