Brandon Ward is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Chillicothe, IL who attends Il Valley Central. Big and strong athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Rocker step delivery to a high leg lift, high 3/4's arm slot, works down the mound well, long and loose arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, throws his fastball for strikes with some late life. Big breaking slow curveball for strikes, shows some feel for his change up. 7.24 runner, big arm swing in the outfield with nice arm strength and some carry on his throws, aggressive to the ball. Right handed hitter, busy hand load, has some strength in his hands, can use his lower half better to help generate bat speed, flashes strength in his swing when squared up. Good student.
