Griffin Kopp is a 2021 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Nolan Catholic. Large build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, fields out in front, glove works well to both sides, profiles well at the corners thanks to his size and developing arm strength. Shows an ability to make accurate throws from multiple slots and while on the move. On the mound, has a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters slot. More left to be unlocked in his lower half as he shoves down the hill. Fastball up to 80 mph, keeps hitters off balanced with a good 11-to-5 shaped curveball that flashes some late bite to the plate. From the outfield, fields off to the side, uses more of an over the top slot on his throws. Big crow hop, throws stay on line to all bags. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a simple small stride trigger. Gets out on his front side, looks to use the middle of the field, excellent student in the classroom as well.
