Josh Barke is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Ellicott City, MD who attends Mount Hebron. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread crouched stance with a high hand start, swings hard and creates some young bat speed, loose and extended out front with some lift, mid field contact with the ability to drive the right centerfield gap, has some hitting skills and tools for his size that will continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.36 runner, moves well on defense with side to side range, has some athletic fluidity and rhythm through the ball, good hands and footwork, arm strength/arm action are still developing. Good student.
