Nic Thomas is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 5-10 154 lb. frame from Denison, TX who attends Sherman HS. Young slender build, lots of room and time to get stronger. Over the top arm slot from a balanced and on line delivery, can use his lower half more to drive to the plate and get over his front side consistently. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 74 mph, tries to work in and out and spot the ball, maintained his velocity well. Curveball had some depth to it and commanded it best of his three pitches. Firm change up is mostly straight. Getting stronger will be key to his future development on the mound. 8.13 runner, charged through the ball hard in the outfield and was clean and fielded through balls. Right handed hitter, loads his hands high and deep, stays on his back side with limited shift into contact, downward swing path, pull contact.
