Kyle Ristow is a 2019 SS/2B with a 6-3 145 lb. frame from Milwaukee, WI who attends Wisconsin Lutheran. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build with wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary shortstop with smooth, clean actions while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange well. Released from a loose three-quarters arm slot producing on line carry to the bag at 81 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Created some linear shift into contact with lower half. Loose hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Displayed developing feel for the barrel while employing a mid field approach. Flashed some jump off the barrel when connecting with baseball out front and creating separation.
