Ashton Lozano is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Santa Fe, TX who attends Santa Fe. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, glove works well out in front as well as to both sides. Some good softness to his glove, makes the routine plays consistently. Arm strength across the diamond will develop nicely alongside his build. At the plate, uses an even and wide stance with a higher handset and a low leg kick trigger. Still more left to be unlocked in his lower half, flat barrel plane through the zone. Some feel for the barrel with a middle of the field approach. Good student in the classroom as well.
