Louis Aquila is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Manteca, CA who attends Sierra. Large physical build with present strength. Primary pitcher, has a long and whippy arm action from a high three-quarters arm slot. Stays closed for most of his motion down the hill then releases late which does create some deception to his arsenal. 78-84 mph fastball possesses good two-seam actions. Applies the same running actions to his plus 76 mph changeup. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball as well. In the infield, stays in front of the ball well and fields out in front. Fluid and quick transfer gets the ball out of his hands quickly. At the plate, uses a wide and slightly open stance with a simple leg lift trigger. Great whip to his barrel through the zone with present bat speed. Still some power left to be unlocked in his lower half, flashes plus pop to both gaps.
