Ian Coste is a 2021 3B/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Mt Pleasant, SC who attends Wando HS. Recorded a 7.71 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with broad shoulders and some strength to the build. Primary third baseman with arm strength recorded up to 77 mph across the diamond. Deliberate actions with deeper funnels and a three-quarters arm slot. Some carry out of the hand and made accurate throws across. Righthanded hitter with an upright base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Leg lift trigger into the ball with a pull side power approach. Open stance with a narrow base and swings with intent. Bit cut off out in front at times and better follow through can improve some power. Good student.
