Brayan Aquino is a 2022 C with a 5-7 137 lb. frame from Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC who attends Ecole Secondaire Chene-Bleu. Young, square shouldered build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, compact and lower set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, long stride moving into release with lower half, full arm action through the back with a tighter release, opens front side early at release, arm strength and carry will continue to develop with getting on top of throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a knee knee stance and a medium hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, hands work well in swing and shows quickness to them. Can continue to incorporate additional lower half, works the middle and pull side parts of the field, gets the barrel through the zone nicely.
