River Jackson is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Greeley, CO who attends University Schools. Young build and look. 7.12 runner, has very quick feet defensively both behind the plate and in the infield, has solid overall athletic actions as a catcher and surprising arm strength for his size and age. Less confident and practiced with his infield actions but has some tools to develop there as well. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a deep hand load, uses his body well to help generate bat speed, stays short and direct to the ball and works the middle of the field, will keep improving as a hitter as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Very good student.
