Joey Michelotti is a 2024 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Grosse Pointe Farms, MI who attends Grosse Pointe South. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, smoothness to swing and barrel path, gets hips involved and stays committed to the middle of the field, good contact skills. Primary infielder, quick feet with good range to both sides, solid hands out front, clocked up to 74 mph across. Also threw 77 mph from the outfield. Pitched as well, collapsed onto back leg, stretch only, compact high take back through arm stroke, fastball worked 73-75 mph with slight arm side life, solid curveball with 12/6 shape and depth, did a nice job throwing strikes. Very good student.
