2022 Northern California Prospect Showcase
Jadon Anderson is a 2024 RHP/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Prospect. Medium sized athletic frame, that showed bouncy athletic footwork to get himself in proper fielding position where the glove work was crisp; developing arm strength that will come as he matures. At the plate, he sets up with medium, slightly open base that gains decent separation. He gets the ball out front to create loud backspun barrels to the pull side. On the mound, methodically rhythmic delivery with medium kick and stride. Short arm action with three-quarters release. Above average command with a high ability to overload the strike zone. Fastball 74-76 is pin straight but shows occasional cut with 1620 rpm. 11-5 breaker 63 -66 showed round shape and modest depth with efficiency to produce weak contact at 1700 rpm. He displayed intent to pitch with conviction on the inner third. Forced a ton of bad barrels throughout 3 quality innings. 7.59 60-yard. Selected to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
