Cross Cassaro is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 154 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Ontario Christian HS. Lean and athletic frame with long legs and room to add strength and physicality. Primary righthanded pitcher with a short turn step into a leg lift below the belt. Low effort delivery with a short, online stride toward the plate. Full and loose arm stroke and releases from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Not afraid to challenge up in the strike zone with the pitch. Tries to get downhill and does so effectively. Mixes in 12/6 curveball with soft break but can throw for strikes presently. Best when working to the lower third of the strike zone. Flashes swing and miss potential on the curveball and creates sinking life on fastball that topped out at 75 mph. Good student.
