Aj Valle is a 2021 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Projectable athletic body with long legs and the beginnings of some present strength. 7.57 runner, has loose athletic actions in the infield on defense, comes to the ball well, with soft hands and a quick exchange, long high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well with good young arm strength. Also plays the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance with a short lift and replace load, repeats his timing and shift well, line drive swing plane and showed some gap power, good base to build from as he gets stronger. Also pitched, over the top arm slot, limited lower body use. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight with occasional glove side cutting life. Curveball had good depth to it, threw strikes with both pitches. Very good student.
