Jacob Pealer is a 2022 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Johnson City, TN who attends University HS. Compact frame with an athletic build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.75 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Moves well to the ball in both directions displaying range. Works through the ball while staying low to the ground and funneling up. Hands work well out front. Developing carry across the field at 76 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even slight spread stance. Stays short and compact to the ball. Can control the barrel well while working to the middle of the field. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step into medium leg lift delivery. Medium take back into a high three-quarter release. Works all quadrants of the zone with the fastball showing occasional arm side run at 73 miles per hour.
