Mason Sayre is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-3 105 lb. frame from Vacaville, CA who attends Will C. Wood. Developing build that stands to drastically improve as he continues to progress. Primary infielder, stays in front of the ball well and is meticulous with his glove work. Shows an ability to read hops and puts himself in solid positions to field the ball cleanly. Arm strength across the diamond will develop nicely alongside his build. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a simple stride trigger. Stays short through the zone. Flat barrel path with a good overall feel for the barrel. Uses the middle of the field well.
