2020 California Workout Camp (Saturday)
Jack Harper is a 2024 MIF/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Moraga, CA who attends De La Salle. Medium developing build with plenty of room to grow and fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, fields out in front and gathers well. Shows some good athleticism while on the move. Clean transfer, short arm action. Arm strength across the diamond will improve nicely alongside his build. At the plate, uses an upright and open stance with a simple stride trigger. Heavy bat wag pre-pitch, some whip to his barrel through the zone. Gets out over the plate with his upper half. Gets his hands out in front, middle to pull side approach. Good student in the classroom as well.
