2022 Northern California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Tobias Schwing is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Lafayette, CA who attends Acalanes. Strong, physical build. Ran the sixty in 7.40 seconds. An outfielder who approached plays under control and showed hands soft enough to cleanly field every ball. His top throw from the outfield grass was clocked at 73 MPH. On the offensive side of the ball he hit out of a spread out stance and uses a high leg kick to generate leverage. He used a pull-oriented approach and flashed impressive juice to that field as well with his flat bat path through the zone and quality bat speed. Also an excellent student.
