Owen Ross is a 2021 RHP with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Kennett, MO who attends Kennett HS. Slender young build. High energy delivery, very long arm action in back, body will get ahead of his arm frequently, lands very open with his stride foot, works very quickly. Primary fastball pitcher, topped out at 80 mph with running and sinking life in the zone. Rare curveball tends to be release early with a late arm. Has raw arm strength for his age but will need adjustments to pace and direction to reach his potential. Right handed hitter, simple set up with a limited shift, upper body rotational swing. Very good student.
