Anthony Letizia is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Egg Harbor City, NJ who attends Cedar Creek. Medium, stronger looking frame with room to physically mature. Recorded a 5.02 second forty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a sound defensive skill set that projects at third base long-term. Moves well laterally from side-to-side, has a clean funnel and produced online, accurate throws up to 86 mph across the diamond. Showed athleticism up the middle with the ability to field on the run and complete an accurate throw. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from a slightly abbreviated windup with subtle movements into a belt high leg lift and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 84 mph with life through the zone from a high three-quarters arm slot. Proficient strike thrower with good command to both sides of the plate and the ability to elevate when ahead in the count. Attack mentality with feel for spin, as he ripped off an abrupt 12-6 shaped curveball with bite. Enticing two-pitch mix that will continue to improve with additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly closed stance with a lower hand set, a high back elbow and simple weight shift into contact. Intent based swing with rotational lower half and strength at impact. Mostly pullside contact with loud impact when on-time, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and physical maturity. Excellent Student.
