Jasper Dalton-Recht is a 2020 RHP/C, 3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Kensington, CA who attends El Cerrito HS. Large frame with broad shoulders and room to fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step into a high leg lift delivery. Works through the gather quickly and lands online. Medium arm circle and releases from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with occasional running action to the arm side. Straight changeup and curveball flashed sharp depth while maintaining arm speed through extension. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Extended path on a line drive swing plane. Deeper hand load and looks to stay inside the baseball at contact. Good student.
