Jackson Barberi is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Brookwood. Long and lean build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch, big leg raise gather over the rubber, compact 3/4's arm action. Worked up to 88 mph on his fastball, gets good running action at times, has more effort on his fastball than his slider or change up and may tip the pitch. Gets good spin and shape on his slider, tend to drop his arm slot on the pitch, has good command of his slider and lands it for strikes consistently. Developing change up. Good athlete who can play the middle infield and shows big arm strength there. Right handed hitter, has a short and direct line drive swing with middle of the field contact, swings hard. Good student. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
