Matthew Mansbery is a 2026 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Brecksville, OH, who attends Walsh Jesuit. A longer frame with a lean build and some athleticism. High-waisted. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who had good arm strength across, with throws at 84 mph to first. He gets it out quickly, with good carry, and had a feel for the footwork on the slow roller. He displays the glove early and had some softness to the hands. He showed a clean release, and the ball came out well. A right-handed hitter with higher-set hands and a high-back elbow. He has a wider base and is able to stay balanced working through it. The ball comes off loud, and he stays synced up well, turning it over with conviction. He was able to get on a good path through it with strength in his hands, impacting it hard. He was able to work gap-to-gap with a good feel for the barrel. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added 2 hits in-game. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a lower leg lift, working from a three-quarters arm slot. He had a shorter arm action with a compact motion. He had a loose and whippy arm action. The fastball worked into the low-80s and was located well, working east & west. He mixed well, pairing the heater with a slider and changeup. The slider worked the low-70s and had late tail to it. The changeup had good arm-side fade to it in the mid-70s. He lived lower in the zone during his outing on the mound. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
