2019 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Pierre Danet is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Mokena, IL who attends Providence Catholic. Small frame with a young build showing plenty of room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.88 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, stays low to the ground throughout his movement to & thru the baseball. Hands proving to have some feel. Quick twitch play starting to show. Arm is still work in progress but all else seems to be fundamentally sound. Projects well at the position. Righthanded Hitter, starting from a crouched stance with high hands that he gets coiled. Proving to have some bat speed as he had intent to do damage. Big cut that found the barrel often. Showed pop when pulling the baseball but also proved he could simplify and drive the baseball to all fields.
