Christian Orta is a 2025 3B/C with a 5-5 162 lb. frame from San Leandro, CA who attends San Leandro. Medium frame with a compact build. Ran a 8.76 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he does a good job of keeping it in front of him. Clean gather and then shuffles into throws. Threw it 66 mph across the diamond during workouts. Secondary Catcher, sitting down in his stance athletically. Reaches as he receives the baseball. Gains ground and works well through the baseball on throw downs. Uphill release and was accurate to the bag as he recorded a 2.29 second pop time. Right-Handed Hitter, starting open with the front side as he works into a low leg lift to stride. Hands get deep and then he works into an uphill swing path as he looks to lift the baseball. Took some big swings and will make big strides with a physical strength gain.
