Damian Tarin is a 2020 RHP/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Otay Ranch HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Works from the stretch, mid 3/4's arm slot, arm works well, has looseness and gets out in front well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, tends to work his fastball up in the zone often, mostly straight when up but nice run when it's down. Slider was his best pitch, has big sweeping action and good bite. Nice arm speed on his change up. Has three solid pitches and the ability to mix when he keeps his fastball down. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide slightly open stance, hands are pretty short to the ball with good extension out front, has some raw bat speed, middle of the field line drive contact. Second base tools on defense. Good student.
