Maddox Burnworth is a 2022 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Blacklick, OH who attends Lincoln. Tall and lean frame with lots of room to add strength as he develops. The primary right handed pitcher has a very projectable frame, has a high leg lift above the belt, and rides the back leg down the slope with good extension an explosion at the end. With a ¾ arm slot, Burnworth’s fastball has sinking action with late life peaking at 84 mph. He mixes in a curveball and changeup, which keeps the hitters off balance. His curveball has good depth and shape. Burnworth hides his changeup very well while also showcasing good extension and late fade. Excellent Student. Named to Fall Atlantic Coast Top Prospect List.
