Matthew Donley is a 2021 C/2B/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Krum, TX who attends Krum. Tall and slender young build. Right handed hitter, hits from an open start with an upper body rotational swing, handles the barrel well and makes consistent line drive contact, works gap to gap, has some projection to his swing if he can get stronger. 7.72 runner, gets low in his set behind the plate defensively and has flexible actions, tends to set up on his heels and stand straight up to throw, gets rid of the ball quickly and there's more arm strength there with better lower half fundamentals. Should continue to improve in all areas as he gets stronger and has more repetitions.
