LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 Sunshine East Showcase
Alex Pereira is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends City Of Hialeah Education Academy. Big, plus strong build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a deep hand load from a spread stance, big leg raise load, swings hard and creates bat speed, showed nice barrel control during the game while maintaining bat speed and power, has the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields and gets nice carry to the gaps. Showed good arm strength behind the plate defensively, makes accurate throws with carry, can shorten his exchange, repeated his footwork well, will need to continue to work on his lower half quickness and agility. Very good student.
